About the webinar

When done right, they can provide an additional source of valuable information on candidates. When done wrong, they are a seemingly endless source of bias.

The above could apply to many of the steps in a regular recruitment process - but one of the most difficult to navigate objectively is reference checking.

Digitalisation has already helped us work faster in recruitment, but can it also be the solution to help us be more objective when reference checking? How can we work more evidence driven, and still not lose out on any information we want to know?

We are so pleased to be joined by David Näsström, Business Developer and Co-owner of Refapp, for this session. David will share lots of insight into the new world of digital reference checking, and his best tips for how to make sure your reference process gives you as much as possible - with as little bias as possible.

We will discuss:

  • How bias and subjectivity often derails the use of a classic reference
  • Why reference checking in 2022 needs to be a lot more than a phone call
  • How you can work both time efficiently and objectively

We will also present how Refapp has implemented the Alva Labs criterias into Refapp for a more competency based recruitment process.

🇬🇧 This webinar will be held in English.
